Kandy, Sri Lanka: (diagram)

Kandy, Sri Lanka capital, Colombo 115 km distance, experienced the Sinhalese Dynasty and colonial rule. City is the center of Kandy, and behind it is surrounded by mountains. Water surface back hill and the temple of the Tooth Relic Kandy, dedicated to the Buddha Shakya Muni's teeth. Is one of the most beautiful city in the world.

Kandy has many tourist attractions, mainly belonging to the palace and the Buddhist culture. Due to the Sinhalese Dynasty as the capital of Sri Lanka and later the colonial history, Kandy retained some royal buildings and exotic colonial architecture. More importantly, in the feudal era, the royal family because of the existence of Kandy from Sri Lanka culture! Including the royal patronage of the temple, building exquisite sculpture murals.

Apart from the temple of the tooth relic, Kandy and Asia's largest garden, covers an area of 60 square kilometers, courtyard planting many exotic flowers and rare herbs, once belonged to the Royal garden.

The best travel time: July 22nd ~ August 1st, tooth festival.

From Colombo City 115 kilometers, convenient traffic and Colombo between. A train and bus between the two.

Accommodation: more hotel Kandy City, but most of the relatively small size, only dozens of even a few rooms.
